It silently suffocates. It binds its marionette strings into my fingers, wrists, elbows, shoulders, knees, ankles… It’s not just a mask on my face. It’s more. It’s a marionette master that controls from the shadows. Mask takes care, that I don’t speak too much. Mask suffocates if I talk. I can’t breathe. Marionette strings pull every part of my body… I am stuck. Mask can’t get me. It destroys it all. Mask wants tears, but also a smile. Smile, that’s sewn on the lips.
As a human Mask could do a lot worse. It can control your body as a marionette or control your mind like a parasite. It owns your soul. Smile always sewn on his lips as he continues haunting. He never gives up. He never stops. I just have to smile. Lie about my true feelings. I don’t know about anything else.
Feelings are bad. What good have they ever done? I wonder about it all the time more and more… What would the world be like without feelings? Everyone would have masks… Everyone would lie so others would have a good feeling. Mask is not just a hallucination. It’s real. Real for me. More real than friends. Everyone could lie. Everyone can forget. Mask doesn’t. Mask is perfect. He smiles. He tells. He speaks. He doesn’t lie. Mask tells me what to do and when. He knows. He can do it all. He is all. Someone I can hold on to. Everyone else disappears, but Mask stays until the end. It’s certain. Mask. My lord and savior.
Mask doesn’t judge. Mask stays. Mask doesn’t care what has been done wrong. Mask helps. Mask is there. Mask is not evil…
Help. It’s suffocating. It’s not good. Help.
Mask is good. I don’t want to get rid of it. Mask helps…
