Once upon a time, there was a small, purple, black, and red box with a small shine of blue. It was located on a small shelf in a young girl’s bedroom. Once she noticed it and walked to it. She creaked it open a bit but got a bit scared and put it quickly back. Ever since then, she started writing small stories based on the games she played or pets she knew about. Always starting with the same little line. ‘’Once upon a time’’.

The girl grew older, and when she went to the seventh grade, she found the box again and creaked it open again, but she was called to eat the dinner. On that night she started writing fanfictions about her favorite shows, creating characters to put herself into the stories. Then she started dreaming about becoming a writer but didn’t yet have it strongly in her mind. She would still have two more years in school before going to vocational college or high school.

In eighth grade, she created her characters with her friend at the time. Then she started dreaming about publishing a book.

She found the small box again and opened it, but her phone let out the bling and she put the box back, full of ideas. She had gotten an idea about creating a bunch of characters based on a thing that interested her a lot. Colours. She started writing about them, creating them with her friend. But waves of life pulled them apart, so she was forced to start the story all over again… All of their stories. She couldn’t keep any of them. Too many memories. She wrote another version… But it again went under the bench. She decided to give up for now.

When she went to vocational college, she lost the box, unable to write alone anymore, only writing with other people. She occasionally wrote alone, but nothing stayed for long. She almost finished one story, but it got stuck in the end, never to be touched again… She returned to fanfiction several times, but nothing felt right.

Some years passed and she found the box when she was moving to her second apartment. She this time got time. She had just lost her best friends, so her phone wouldn’t bling. She lived alone, with no disturbances. She opened the box… There was a single pink feather. That pink feather radiated something. The girl touched it and saw worlds, unlike anything. She got a bit spooked, but excitedly looked around in those worlds and all those people in there… All those creatures. She found a home there. Soon she got it into words. Nedariona. All those kingdoms and nations… Worlds with a rich history. She closed the box once that vision was over, but right away rushed to her laptop, writing down everything she could remember, and the next few months she was blossoming with ideas for different things. But the curse of creativity washed over her too. After all. Creativity comes with Insanity…
